Spring Flag Football
Join the Monroe Youth Football Association for Spring Football. This is a flag football program that helps deliver some of the fundamentals used during tackle football. Teaching them how to run plays, run the ball and keeping them active during the spring season with a sport they love or even want to gain a better understanding about.
Ages
Grades K-8 are eligible to come play flag football with the Monroe Youth Football Association.
When
Spring Football begins in March and ends in May.
Where
Practices are held at Sky River Park in Monroe, WA and games are held at the Lake Stevens Community Park.
Practices
Practice days and times may vary depending on your coach's preference but are typically 1-3 times per week from 5-6pm.
Games
Game Days are on Sundays, times will vary depending on age level and there will be roughly 8 games plus championships.
Jerseys
Jerseys are included in the registration price.
***Replacement jerseys are at the cost of parent/ guardian.
Extra Costs
Additional purchases you should expect are socks, water bottles, mouth guards and cleats. Sunscreen is also highly encouraged.
Fundraising
YES! You will need to expect to participate in fundraising for the 2025 Spring Season with the MYFA.
Volunteer Hours
REQUIRED! You will be required to participate in TWO (2) hours of volunteer time. Athletes may not complete the volunteer hours without the supervision of a parent/ guardian.

Does my athlete need to have cleats?
YES! Although, they can't be metal cleats for safety purposes.
Does my athlete need to have a mouth guard?
YES! Mouth guards are a requirement to play in the Spring Season!
What do registration fees cover?
Registration fees cover the costs of several things but for starters the fees go towards fields, jerseys, other gear requirements (such as flags) and referees.
Why the additional $40 fee for volunteer hours?
Historically, we have seen the same families stepping up to volunteer their time with the MYFA or it falls back on our board of directors who are also here for their children and dedicate a lot of time behind the scenes.
We hope to see a rise in community and team work and offering a refund of this $40 fee or a credit towards your next season that you can view on your account with our organization.
How can I complete my volunteer hours?
Volunteer hours can be completed by coaching, concessions, merchandising and field setups/ tear downs. There are is potential for other opportunities, please ask your coach or team parent.
Is there a payment plan?
YES! You can split your registration costs.

- February 1 - first installment
- March 1 - final installment
Must be paid in full by March 1, 2025. If you wait until after February 1- you will need to pay the deposit as well as the first installment.

Join us for some fun in the sun! Spring is just around the corner and getting out to play is the best way to spend the day. Spring Football is a great opportunity for some reconditioning after a long cold winter.
Registration fees include a $40 volunteer time fee, once volunteer hours are completed you can opt for a refund or for a next season credit with the MYFA.
