Fall Football & Cheer
Welcome to the 2025 Fall Football and Cheer Registration!
We’re excited to kick off another amazing season at the Monroe Youth Football Association (MYFA)! Whether you’re a returning player or cheerleader, or joining us for the first time, we’re thrilled to have you as part of our MYFA family!
Get ready for a season filled with fun, teamwork, and unforgettable memories! Our programs are designed to promote physical fitness, sportsmanship, and personal growth while providing a supportive environment for all participants.
Ages
Grades K-8 are eligible to play with the MYFA.
When
Our season changes from year to year but can be expected to begin in August and end in November.
Where
Practice fields are by reservation basis with the Monroe School District. Most practices are held at Lake Tye Sports Fields or Park Place Middle School in Monroe, WA. Game locations vary- be prepared to travel.
Practices
During the summer, practices are scheduled FIVE (5) days a week from 6-8pm and once school is back in session, physical practices with pads and helmets drop down to THREE (3) days a week from 6-8pm with the potential for film review days from your coaches.
Games
The number of games that can be expected at minimum is SIX (6) game days per team level with the potential for playoffs and championships.
Jerseys
Uniforms are covered by registration fees!
Extra Costs
Additional costs for you to prepare for include your athletes shoes or cleats, socks, mouth guards and water bottles.
Team parents may orchastrate other fees for team parties, team certificates, coaches gifts, etc.
***Sunscreen is highly recommended.
Volunteer Hours
REQUIRED! Please expect to be required to participate in a specific number of volunteering hours for each athlete; concessions, merch, chains and more. Athletes may not complete required hours unaccompanied by a parent/ guardian.
Fundraising
REQUIRED! Fundraising is required for each athlete to participate in.
Buyout options are available and are due at time of registration.

Grade Based Teams
Our organization will assign teams on a grade base decision. The 2025 fall rosters are based off the grade your child will be in when the season begins > 2025 / 2026 school year.
Example: If your child will be entering 5th grade in the fall, your child will be placed on the Junior level for the fall tackle season.

Can my athlete play up?
There are some occasions where athletes can opt to play at one level higher than their own. Please contact the VP of your sport to inquire about these special occasions.
How can I get involved?
There are a number of ways to get involved, we are actively seeking ambitious individuals for our committees and other roles. Please visit our Board of Directors page!
What do the registration fees cover?
Uniforms, field fees, equipment, league fees, insurance, storage, first aid supplies and more.
Are there scholarships available for this season?
Yes! Scholarships are available on a case by case basis. You will need to create an account with us via Crossbar (to receive your scholarship credits), submit your application and provide proof of income. Incomplete applications may result in disqualification from the selection process.
