Who should I go to if I need help with an issue?

If you can't resolve an issue on your own with an athlete, parent, team parent or another coach please start with sending a message your VP.

Brad Moyes

VP of Football

Lisa Shelton

VP of Cheer

How many support staff/ assistant coaches are allowed on the field?

The answer is up to Head Coach/ Board of Directors discretion but once the season has begun, adding additional support staff will need to be approved by the division VP.

Are background checks required for field staff?

YES! This is a requirement from the NSJFL to ensure the safety of our youth while they are out on the field. Anyone who is going to be on the sidelines helping with athletes, taking photos or coaching must comply with the completion of a background check. Once they have been cleared they will be allowed to participate.

Can coaches/ team parents have their children on the sidelines?

The approved "children" on the sidelines with the athletes are registered athletes for the MYFA or Monroe High School students who can provide their ASB card at the time of field entrance on game days. Remember, we follow the NSJFL requirements. If other associations do not, that is on them and they will need to address the consequences for what they choose not to abide by.

A parent would like to take photos for our team, can they?

YES! The past couple seasons have seem to come with some minor confusions about this. Anyone can provide photos for their team as long as they pass a background check.
